We have started caregiver trainee program for foreigners to get the national caregiver license in Japan since last year. In this program, first, you study Japanese in a language school in Japan for 1 year to reach N3 level, and then after the language school, you study elderly care in a vocational school for 2 years. During your study in Japan, you can also work as an assistant caregiver at our elderly care home. After you finish studying, you can work as a licensed caregiver in Japan, and you can work in Japan for long years. So if you are willing to work and live in Japan for a long time, becoming a caregiver can be a good option for you!!

If you join this program, you will study in a Japanese language school in Japan for 1 year starting from 2020/4 to 2021/3, and then study in a elderly care vocational school for 2 years starting from 2021/4 to 2023/3. During that time you can work for our elderly care home as a part-time caregiver (up to 28hrs/week). After you finish the vocational school, you are entitled to work full-time caregiver in Japan at least 5 years, and if you pass the national exam, you can work as a caregiver in Japan as many years as you want!

We can secure the place where you study, live and work. And you don’t need to prepare any initial money for this program. If you have given up studying and working in Japan because of money, this must be a great opportunity for you!! Why don’t you become a caregiver in Japan!?

<Why are we holding this program? 私たちがこのプログラムを行う理由>

The aging of the population is proceeding rapidly in Japan. The proportion of people over 65 who live in Japan is about 30% and will continue to increase, but the number of young people is decreasing every year. Therefore it is said in 2025 that caregivers taking care of elderly people in Japan are short of 300,000 or more. We feel a sense of crisis in this situation and we believe that there is no other solution than inviting people who can work as caregivers from outside of Japan. We expect that as many people from this program will continue to work as a caregiver in Japan in the future.

< Q & A >

Q1:Is this program for free?

A1:No initial money is needed. You need to pay back the tuition fee to us later, but you can get monthly income from the part-time job, and we will provide you a free accommodation. All the expenses can be covered enough with that income, so no need to worry.

Q2:I have no experience as a caregiver, is it okay?

A2:No problem. We will give you a training program in our nursing home. And you can start from tasks that you can handle. Of course, if you have experience of nursing care, you have an advantage.
